Strengthen mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with this 6-week registered program designed to help you deepen your experience and enjoyment during pregnancy. Classes include yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy; relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery. These classes are beneficial anytime during your pregnancy. ALL LEVELS.
This unique class combines yoga and play to get back in shape while strengthening the bond between you and your infant. Experience flowing asanas, challenging postures and calming restorative time in a playful and safe environment for babies. Learn baby yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns and help your infant towards their next stage of development. Class is for babies 6 weeks old to new walkers. Dads are welcome too! ALL LEVELS.
Parent & Toddler (new walkers-2 years old)
Partner with your toddler in simple animated poses, games, art, music and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. We'll bark in downward dog, hiss in cobra pose and flutter our wings in butterfly, while we take a yoga journey that your child will never forget! This fun class provides key bonding methods between parent and child, while strengthening their growing muscles. Caregivers welcome. Class is a one-on-one experience (1 parent to 1 child). ALL LEVELS.
A playful and fun-filled 6-week registered program tailored to the age group of the class. Each class explores a theme, builds strength, enhances their imagination, builds their self-esteem (as they become aware and gain control of their body and mind) and explores yoga through poses, breathing exercises, games and creative activities. Yoga Thrive is a research-based therapeutic yoga program designed specifically for cancer survivors both on and off treatment and in remission, and their support persons. This 8-week progressive program focuses on gentle postures, as well as breathing and relaxation techniques customized to each individual's abilities and particular challenges. Benefits include: improved strength and flexibiity, body awareness, increased energy and vitality, and improved overall quality of life.
