Our Pre-Natal massages are performed using a special pregnancy bolster with hollowed out areas to accommodate your growing belly and keep you comfortable. Massage during pregnancy has been proven to improve your overall mood; lower anxiety; decrease back and leg pain; improve sleep; decrease levels of the stress hormone norepinephrine; increase levels of the "feel-good" hormones serotonin and dopamine; and decrease levels of cortisol, an indicator of stress. Our Pre-Natal massages are performed by experienced RMTs with pregnancy massage training.

Soothing heated basalt stones of varying sizes are placed on key points on your body to stimulate the flow of healing energies. They are then used for a full-body massage to deeply penetrate and loosen your muscles, gently easing tension and fatigue.

Raindrop Therapy combines massage and reflexology with the use of 9 different therapeutic/medicinal grade essential oils that are applied to the feet and along the spine. The combination of these oils and the application of moist warm towels allows the oils to penetrate your body rapidly and begin their therapeutic process on a cellular level. This relaxing technique is known to increase the immune system, detoxify the body, relieve back issues and create balance and harmony in the body – physically, mentally and emotionally. This amazing treatment can be incorporated into any 60 or 90 min massage for just $20 extra.

Myofascial Cupping is a safe and non-invasive technique for effective release of connective tissue or fascia, and muscle hyperirritability. Myofascial cupping is a modified version of the ancient Chinese style of cupping with the major difference being the targeting of the musculoskeletal system rather than meridian systems used by Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is effective in treating neck and back pain, repetitive strain injuries, cellulite, muscle spasms and tightness.

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of solid filiform acupuncture needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or even surgery. Relief is often obtained with acupuncture when traditional medical therapy has failed. Some of the ailments successfully treated with acupuncture are lower back, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, insomnia, depression, anxiety, infertility, weight control, arthritis and sports injuries.
Initial session: $105, Follow-up sessions: $80.00
Functional Dry Needling is a modern approach to the use of acupuncture needles in effectively treating myofascial pain. A thin needle is used to target taut, irritable bands of muscle tissue called trigger points (or muscle “knots”). Once the trigger points are released, blood flow is increased to the muscle, tension is relieved, painful inflammatory chemicals are removed and mobility and function are restored. Dry Needling can be used to treat a variety of physical ailments including headaches, neck, low back and shoulder pain, hip and leg pain (sciatica, hamstring strains, calf tightness/spasms) and arm pain (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, golfer’s elbow).
Thai Massage (also known as Thai Yoga Massage) is a mind-body-spirit practice influenced by ancient Indian Ayurveda integrated with Chinese practices. It incorporates many different soft tissue manipulation techniques (massage, fascial release, chopping, and many more) with assisted stretches and meditation in order to achieve a deep state of relaxation. It focuses on pressure points along ten key energy lines in the body, breaking energy blockages resulting in among other things, reduced stress, better sleep, improved circulation and range of motion, and increased energy and flexibility. Treatments are performed fully clothed (so please dress comfortably in loose clothing) on the floor on padded mats without the use of oils.
Thai Foot Reflexology Massage is a treatment that is focused on the lower legs and feet, inspired by Thai Foot Reflexology. It involves stretching, massage, thumb walking, and the use of a specifically-tooled wooden stick to stimulate the reflex points on the feet. This is a 60-minute treatment that seeks to restore balance to all the systems of the body and mind.
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch therapy that is safe for everyone, including the elderly and newborn babies. It is used to gently release tension patterns and restrictions within the cranio-sacral system. This system consists of the bones in your skull, spine, sacrum (hips), the cerebrospinal fluid, diaphragms and fascia that all interconnect. As restrictions within the nerve pathways are released, cerebrospinal fluid is now able to flow freely and optimally, allowing bones to naturally move back in to alignment. Craniosacral Therapy is commonly used to treat mental stress, back and neck pain, TMJ Syndrome, migraines and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
