Cheryl is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 18 years of experience, and has been engaged in private practice for over 14 years. She is certified in Humanics Bodywork (a method of deep tissue, trigger point and structural integration). Cheryl’s mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, Cheryl strongly believes in massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and highly recommends this as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (OHP) is Cheryl's most recent accomplishment having graduated with honors from The College of International Holistic Studies in 2010. This qualifies her to specialize in maintaining and/or restoring biochemistry and physiology in the body for optimum health. She assesses the unique dietary and nutritional requirements of an individual and utilizes a full spectrum of customized natural therapies including: diet and nutritional supplements, detoxification, and drainage.
Cheryl has recently completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at ‘SOYA’ South Okanagan Yoga Academy. She looks forward to offering instruction in the near future.
Cheryl’s special interest is dedicated to an integrated approach to nutrition and body work, and she believes anyone can overcome adversity. In order to attain a high quality life one must be willing to proactively participate in one’s own health, making complimentary life style choices and living with gratitude and integrity.
When Cheryl is not working she loves to hang out with her daughter, one of her greatest joys in life. She also loves getting into the Rocky Mountains as much as possible and always has a book on health or spirituality on the go.

I graduated in June 2011 from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Winnipeg, MB. My training and experience includes remedial assessment and manual treatment, hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, thai hot stem massage, pre and post natal massage, sports massage, post-op rehabilitation for joint replacement and scar tissue management.
Because stress and injury can become hard-wired into our physical and mental state, creating disharmony and 'not feeling like your true self', I believe massage and bodywork can help release and move this stress bringing our bodies back into balance and well-being from the inside out.
My interest in yoga started at age 15 and I continue to further my practice by gaining knowledge in Eastern Healing practices geared toward disease prevention and daily management for chronic pain conditions. I carry a strong belief in meditation and positive thinking, as it creates balance and peace within one’s self, leading to positive action, growth and connection.
I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking and jogging with my two dogs, both of whom have brought an enormous amount of joy into my life with unconditional love and companionship!
